Due to the high pipe strength and the possibility of filling the interior with concrete, MPC pipes can be used as support for different objects in conditions of corrosive external environment. A welded metal grille that gives the tubes high-strength properties is protected by polymer from all sides, therefore, when in contact with salt water, inside the pipe as well as outside, there is no oxidation process of the grid, which strength of the tube remains an unchanged parameter.

Dual cooling system, which prevents the formation of a rough crystal structure at the macromolecule level

It gives polyethylene more flexibility. The main pressures on the system are assumed by the steel grid, which enables the achievement of the high-strength characteristics of the whole pipe system from the MPC, many times greater than the strength of the polyethylene tubes without reinforcement.

The tube calibration system to the inner diameter, which forms a glossy inner surface with minimal roughness of the substrate

It allows to increase the flow rate in the pipeline by reducing friction on the surface and ultimately increasing the capacity of the pipeline, allowing replacement of the entire system on the pipe of a smaller diameter without loss of volume of the transported liquid.

MPC – polymer tubes reinforced with a solid steel wire welded wire. The strength of the steel structure in combination with chemical resistance and special properties of polyethylene, determine the diverse purpose of MPC in various industries, including the transport of oil and gas, acids, acid liquids, industrial water, hot and cold water. High wear resistance allows the use of MPC to transport corrosive liquids with high content of solid particles.

For the production of MPC is used:

Polyethylene class ELTEX (manufacturer – Solvay Polyolefins Europe, Belgium)
Wire for general purpose according to GOST 3282-74, diameter 3 mm

The polyethylene used is allowed for contact with food, therefore the MPC has the necessary permits for use in the construction of a drinking water pipeline.

Metal reinforcement provides MPC with high mechanical strength and the ability to self-resilience. The brilliant interior surface and the practical absence of adhesion of materials and liquids prevent the accumulation of deposits, it provides an increase in the capacity of the pipeline by 20% compared to the metal analogue. The coefficient of linear expansion is almost equal to the same for steel tubes.

The experience of the company confirms that the use of MPC gives a significant economic effect, based on the calculation of medium and long term exploitation.

Along with the production of current pipes, our company produces the accompanying pipe assortment – drainage (30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees), t – joints of the same diameter and fittings.



Metal pipes of our production, unlike metal pipes, do not require protection against corrosion and cathodic protection, which significantly reduces time and economic costs. Due to the fact that the weight per meter of our pipe is about 1/3 of weight per meter of steel pipe, there is no need to use special equipment for installation and installation of pipelines. This has a significant economic effect.

Quality installation ensures the durability and announced technical characteristics of the pipeline. MEPOS was founded in 1990 in Yekaterinburg city by a prestigious team of engineers, the authors of the technology of production of plastic pipes reinforced with steel gratings, with incredibly high characteristics. The development of this technology is caused by the need to reduce the cost of using expensive titanium tubes and stainless steel tubes when laying uranium. At the same time, there was a need to maintain high exploitation characteristics. The task the designers faced was more than ambitious, because the new product should have been:

  • Strong enough to be used as a bore hole
  • Resistant to aggressive environments
  • Longevity
  • Easy to install
  • Significantly cheaper in the production of steel and titanium analogs

The result was the creation of a unique metalloplastic tube that has been used by the company of the USSR Middle Machinery Industry in 1977, in uranium mines in the Leninbad region of Uzbekistan, at a depth of 800 m.

In 1979, in the immediate vicinity of these uranium mines, an earthquake amplitude of more than 9 degrees Richter scale occurred. All wells, in which metalloplastics pipes were used, did not suffer serious damage and even retained the internal geometric shape.

Thanks to high exploitation characteristics, metalloplastics pipes are used in other areas of industry and housing – transport of oil, gas, alkaline fluids, acids, water and other liquids.
